The outstanding feature of this hotel is the service provided by Michael the manager. He greets you like a long lost friend and he looks after you like you’re a part of the family. He certainly goes the extra mile to ensure your stay here as enjoyable as possible. It’s an old house with quaint features but everything you need is there. My room was enormous and the bathroom well equipped if a little dated. It’s located in a very quiet part of the city which is safe to walk in which is a major plus for me. There are plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance and Michael of course will recommend where to go. Likewise there is a big supermarket in that same area. Was delighted with my stay here and was quite sad to leave. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend it to other travellers.

The staff were contactable before the trip and answered every question I had. The hotel had a lovely garden green area to sit in for work or leisure. The breakfast was wholesome and had a good amount of fruit - I'm vegan.

Although told it could be around 1pm because he was fully booked, he made me feel at home and luckily a room was ready for 10am. Also looked after my bags while I went for some breakfast. Room was spotless. Great service. Thoroughly recommend 👍🏻
